Darren Mutter Head of Pembrokeshire children’s service is infamous among families for covering up abuse under his care and targeting mothers who speak out.
Andrews Story
One of the children who was placed in Alison’s care is called Andrew and was still in her care when she was done for animal neglect. Andrew who is now 18 was placed with Alison at 10 years old. Andrew ran away more than 50 times and the police picked him and and took him back to Alison’s home every time.
The smell was so bad when Andrew ran back to his mother Leoni Elizabeth Jenkins he would need multiple baths before the police picked him up again.
Andrews mother Leoni put in multiple complaints because of the smell of her son when she had contact but her complaints were always ignored.
While in Alison’s care Andrew never saw a dentist even though his mother had full dental plan for the family.
Andrew was still forced to be in stay in care 6 moths after he turned 18.
Alison was made appointee to control Andrews money and gets paid to provide this service.
Andrew is supposed to receive personal independent payments but that money is being paid to foster carer directly Alison Silk and because of this Andrew had to go to food banks.
Andrew was not the only one in his family who has suffered under Darren Mutters children’s service. Andrews has younger siblings who are still in Pembrokeshire children’s services care. Recently Andrews 17 year old brother ran away from care.
Police Response
The police came to the mother Leoni Elizabeth Jenkins house 15 times. 5 times she allowed them to come into to search her home for her 17 years old son who had run away from another abusive placement. On the 6th attempt the mother refused to let them in so they chain sawed though her door.
